135. Cork & Fin

Yesterday was date night and the first day of Dine Out Vancouver Festival, so out of the extensive list of participating restaurants, we chose Cork & Fin for a seafood dinner.

(Left: octopus & charizo | Right: arctic char)

The food was amazing. A three-course meal with lobster bisque to start off, which was just amazing. A bit salty, but nonetheless very flavourful! The second course was octopus & charizo and it was the most tender and delicious octopus I have ever tasted! The sauce also matched well with both the octopus and charizo. As for the last meal, it was alright. I'm not a big fan of fish but the arctic char tasted pretty good. It also had gnocchi and it was my first time trying it so that was interesting. Overall, it was a great night!
