The left page was my idea page for hair patterns. I was originally going to use flowers (it was my theme for art in my grade 12 year). The flowers were going to be done in pencil crayons, so I could go over it with light black watercolour and it'll still show through. But, I also really wanted to accentuate my face (especially since I spent a lot of time on it), and I didn't want the flowers to be too much that it would block my face. So, in the end, I went with geometrical shapes. This worked out pretty nicely, because I am also a fan of straight lines and curves. There's just something so simple about them, yet it can still be elaborate.
